Grass Roots

Something you learn early on when working on any project, volunteer or otherwise, is how important promotion is. All the work you put into something will mean absolutely nothing if you do not have a plan in place to get exposure. Word of mouth is a great way to increase awareness of any project especially for independent film.

Naturally blogs like this one, Facebook and Twitter don’t hurt either. The digital age has allowed smaller productions to literally reach millions. On a local level the internet has allowed greater access to a global market of manufacturers, which in turn reduced the cost of some fun promotional items. These wristbands I had made for the movie are a great and inexpensive option to help spread the word. I have set up an entry level sponsorship package that includes one and the crew helping to make the movie locally will be wearing them to help promote it.

Don’t miss out on your chance to help make a movie, this is an opportunity to see your name on the big screen!
